Laurel Anderson, R.N., B.S.N.
Laurel Anderson, R.N., B.S.N. was born in Peru but grew up in Nevada. After high school, Laurel moved to Georgia where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing at Georgia State University. Laurel is licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing. Prior to nursing school, Laurel spent several years working in women’s health where she perfected her skill set as a medical healthcare worker and realized her potential as a registered nurse.
During her clinical rotations, she realized she had a passion for surgery. She joined Skin Cancer Specialists, P.C. in January 2015 as part of the team responsible for preparing and maintaining the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Skin Cancer Specialists Surgery Center, LLC. Laurel was instrumental in receiving accreditation from Joint Commission (JCAHO) for the surgery center and currently serves as one of four registered nurses on staff.
Laurel enjoys traveling, fishing, and spending time with her husband, Mike. She is a big fan of college football, specifically the University of Georgia Bulldogs.
